If the software was removed it could be that not all components were deleted.
Issue could be that the Event Logs are still there and CS does not accept a new log with the same 8 characters:
Autostore Xerox EIP Connect.evtx
So we need to delete this log.
- Stop the Windows Event log Service
- Open Registry and browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog
- Delete the "Autostore Xerox EIP Connect" key.
- Browse to "C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs"
- Delete the "Autostore Xerox EIP Connect.evtx" log file
- Start the Windows Event Log Service
- Start the Autostore ControlSuite Service.
