Migrate PaperCut to new server.

On the old server:

• Browse to the folder: C:\Program Files\PaperCut (MF/NG)\Server\
• Copy the files:application.license and server.properties and place them on the new server.
• Create a backup of the PaperCut Database: PaperCut Menu Options --> Back-ups.
• Copy the database backup to the new server.

On the new server:

• Create the exact same printqueue's as the old server (Use printmanager)
• Install the same version of PaperCut as the old server.
• Stop the PaperCut Application Service.
• Place the 2 files: application.license and server.properties in the "Server" folder of the new PaperCut installation.
• Open "Command" as admin.
• Run the following commands:
  • cd c:\Program Files\PaperCut MF\server\bin\win\"
  • db-tools init-db -f
  • db-tools import-db -f "pathtofile\Backup.zip" (Ex. C:\backup.zip)
• Start the PaperCut Application Service.

If the server has a new name, you need to delete all printers and devices.
Printers can be deleted all at once with the command:

[*]server-command delete-printer <servername> “[All Printers]”
